Special Tracks

Special tracks are intended to stimulate in-depth discussions in special areas relevant to the conference. All papers accepted in a special track will be recommended to SCIE journals for possible publishing. For inquires on special tracks, please directly contact Ms. Liya Zhang at info@meaac.org.

ST1: Materials in Photocatalysis and Electrocatalysis (MEAAC-MPE)

Call for Papers for MEAAC-MPE

Photocatalysis and electrocatalysis have been recognized as two promising renewable and sustainable technologies to address the global energy crisis and environmental pollution, and thus attracted broad interest in recent years. Nevertheless, they suffer from low energy utilization rate, low catalytic efficiency, low reclamation rate while high cost.

With this background, this special track aims to gather high-impact original research works, views and opinions of world-leading academics and experts on the current state and future of photocatalysis and electrocatalysis materials. It fucuses on characteristics and preparations, current technology bottlenecks and problems, potential breakthroughs and future perspectives of novel materials in photocatalysis and electrocatalysis.

In this special track, we invite original contributions that investigate the following aspects of photocatalysis and electrocatalysis materials:

  • Latest research progress of materials in photocatalysis / electrocatalysis/ photoelectrocatalysis
  • Technology bottlenecks in research or existing problems in application practice
  • Mechanism analysis and comparative analysis of photocatalysis, electrocatalysis and photoelectrocatalysis
  • Potential breakthroughs and future perspectives
  • Other alternative sustainable materials (topic-related)

Prospective authors are invited to submit innovative research articles or review articles for peer-review and publication in this special track.

ST2: Nano Semiconductor Materials (MEAAC-NSM)

Call for Papers for MEAAC-NSM

Nowadays, advanced materials are urgently demanded, as they are the key and foundation to realize the transformation and utilization of new energy in the face of aggravating energy and environmental problems. Nano semiconductor materials have aroused substantial interest in their preparation, characterization and application for promising applications in many fields. Currently, research on nano semiconductor materials is not enough.

With this background, this special track aims to gather high-impact original research works, views and opinions of world-leading academics and experts on the current state and future of nano semiconductor materials. It fucuses on characteristics and preparations, current applications, potential breakthroughs and future perspectives of nano semiconductor materials.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Nano Semiconductor Materials/ Semiconductor Nanostructures
  • Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology
  • Superconducting Materials
  • Semiconductor Materials
  • Supercapacitor
  • Optical Fiber Materials
  • Power Battery Materials
  • Solar Cell Materials
  • Preparation, Characterization and Application of Nano Semiconductor Materials

ST3: Soft Computing in Intelligent Manufacturing System (MEAAC-SCIMS)

Call for Papers for MEAAC-SCIMS

Soft computing has now attracted a lot of attention from computer engineering and automatic control engineering, for its tolerance of imprecision, uncertainty, partial truth, and approximations and good performance in solving complex real-life problems. The application of soft computing in intelligent manufacturing is promising, as it can proactively detect and respond to events. With this background, this special issue aims to collect the latest research and insights on the latest developments, problems, and challenges of soft computing applied in intelligent manufacturing.

In this special issue, we invite original contributions on current soft computing techniques in engineering application, especially in intelligent manufacturing application. Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Soft Computing Analysis
  • Intelligent Manufacturing
  • Industry 4.0
  • Machine Learning/ Cognition
  • Failure and Defect Diagnosis
  • Fuzzy Control/ System
  • Neural Networks
  • Genetic Algorithms
  • Dynamical Schedule/ System
